Melinda K. Hoyer Named a VIP of the Year for Excellence in Music
Melinda Hoyer, lifelong musician, specializes in conducting private vocal training classes
CROSBY, TX, January 11, 2012 /AE PR News/ -- Melinda K. Hoyer, Lyric Coloratura Soprano for MKHoyer Song Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in music.
Music has been Ms. Hoyer's passion for as long as she can remember. Coming from a large musical family, she grew up singing, playing instruments, and performing musicals with her six siblings. The daughter of a choir director, she was a member of her church's choir. Today, with 22 years of professional experience, Ms. Hoyer is a Lyric Coloratura Soprano who specializes in conducting private vocal training classes. She is also the owner of MKHoyer Song Services, a sole proprietorship through which she offers music lessons and vocal training. In recognition of her work, Ms. Hoyer was recently named a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success. Ms. Hoyer attributes her success to her perseverance.
Ms. Hoyer developed her talents and began singing opera while attending Oral Roberts University. In 1995, she earned a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in vocal performance. After graduation, she took her studies to Vienna, Austria, where she performed house concerts. Having returned to the U.S., Ms. Hoyer continues to study privately and performs with the Kingwood Chorale and Kingwood Opera. She also sings upon request privately and at events, such as weddings, church functions and sporting events.
