In order to fulfill their own dreams, the women have to literally wage a war with the world. There is a constant tussle between the two disparate forces of their own expectations and the expectation of the society.
The author has made use of the language of the senses and stimuli more than the conventional dialogue style. The subtle nuances of each character have been intelligently captured through this style of writing.
The hardships and struggle, which is a part and parcel of almost every woman's life, is reflected in this collection of short stories.
