Actor and Prankster Telly "Leatherface" Blackwood Returns to the World of Professional Wrestling
This past Saturday, January 14th the wrestler known as Leatherface returned to the ring after an 8 year hiatus.
SACRAMENTO, CA, January 18, 2012 /AE PR News/ -- This past Saturday, January 14th the wrestler known as Leatherface returned to the ring after an 8 year hiatus. The end of Saturday night's main event match at Freakshow Wrestling came with a surprising twist. Current champion known as Funny Bone was brutally attacked from behind and whipped with floggers by Leatherface and adult BDSM star Master Aaron of Fetish 4 Freaks. As a result of the unforeseen event; an official tag team match has been set for Leatherface and Funny Bone to go head to head on Saturday, February 25th.
Leatherface, whose real name is Telly Blackwood, made his television debut in 2004 on MTV's Viva La Bam. He can also be found wrestling in the Bloodhound Gang's music video for "Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss" that was released in 2005. Most recently, Leatherface has appeared in the 3D film Dark Truths. Behind the scenes he has produced three Pay-Per-View titles and was involved with cult classics like Queen of the Hood and Off the Hook TV. Leatherface has also auctioned his forearms on eBay for the purpose of a tattoo advertisement. The winning bid was for $13,000 placed by Golden Palace Casino. This made Leatherface the second person in the world to become a human ad space.
