Iva Stowe Honored for Excellence in Music Ministry
Iva Stowe successfully combines her passions for music and worship
WADESBORO, NC, December 28, 2011 /AE PR News/ -- Iva Stowe, Minister of Music and Organist for the First Baptist Church of Wadesboro, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in music ministry.
As the minister of music and organist for the First Baptist Church of Wadesboro, Ms. Stowe successfully combines her passions for music and worship. She is responsible for playing the organ for all worship services provided by the church. She also directs two choral groups and three handbell choirs and oversee three other choral groups. Ms. Stowe, who loves working with groups, is known for her exceptional encouragement skills.
In 1974, Ms. Stowe earned a master's degree in religious education. She became involved in her profession through the influence of her aunt, who suggested the field. Ms. Stowe found music ministry to be a good fit for her. She attributes her success to the excellent training she received in college and her experience as a choir member. When not working, Ms. Stowe enjoys reading and going to the theater. She looks forward to retiring in the future.
