Chicago's 2012 HIV/AIDS Awareness Day of Workshops

FAM Entertainment Welcomes all High School Students, parents, teen organizations, mentoring programs, recovery agencies to come out and Break the Cycle in the Community

    CHICAGO, IL, December 11, 2011 /AE PR News/ -- FAM Entertainment Theater Company, along with Ford City Shopping Mall, The South Shore Hospital Wellness Center, AIDS Chicago, Chicago's Women's Aids Project, Chicago's Women's Health center, P.A.V.E., Seed of Hope, The Women's Health Foundation, Chicago WVON radio personality and Southside Help Center director Kendall Moore, film director Janks Morton of the ground breaking documentary "Dear Daddy", New Foundations, Imani Niah, HawkFilmz, The Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women's Network, Artist Paul Branton, The Chicago Department of Public Health, South Suburban Family Shelter over 20 participating high schools and grammar schools including the Illinois Math and Science Academy of Aurora IL and many other motivational presenters and organizations, in taking action against HIV/AIDS. On MARCH 10, 2012, FAM Entertainment Theater Company, NFP will hold a free, fun yet educating day of workshops in honor of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD), where 1200 women and teen girls in the community will be able to participate in an open exchange of dialogue for guarded topics of sexuality and reproductive health.

WHAT: FAM Entertainment Theater Company's goal is to incorporate drama with more conventional information, education, and communication which will highlight the increasing impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls and encourage them to take action by knowing their status and understanding their risk.

WHEN: Saturday March 10, 2012 beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Ford City Shopping Mall, 7601 S. Cicero, Chicago, IL 60652. FREE PARKING.
