Yianni Johns Is Displayed In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

Stanford Who's Who announces the addition of Yianni Johns to the exclusive network of premier professionals as a result of his extraordinary effort in the arts.

TERRIGAL, NSW, AUSTRALIA, November 4, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who announces the addition of Yianni Johns to the exclusive network of premier professionals as a result of his extraordinary effort in the arts. As an Artist, as well as throughout his phenomenal professional career, Mr. Johns has consistently displayed the passion and perseverance necessary to be successful in the business world.

Yianni is a self-taught artist who views painting on the level of importance of breathing, as it is his source of oxygen. His paintings are inspired by his observations of the weaknesses and habits of humanity, providing powerful statements about society and the psychology of the human mind. The subjects of his paintings reflect the hypnosis he sees in the consumerism of the modern world, exposing the way his heart and mind see the world before him.

Mr. Johns earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Curtin University. Yianni acts as a Curator for artists and art exhibitions. He was responsible for starting the Zooid Art Movement in 2002. Yianni was an Australia Day Ambassador for Wyong Shire in 2010 and an Australia Day Ambassador for Clarence Valley in 2011. He was the recipient of an Australia Day Award for Services to Culture in 2010.
