Ray Sanders Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who

BRYAN, TX, November 14, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who proudly welcomes Ray Sanders to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Entertainment Industry. Throughout his brilliant 40 year professional career, Ray has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and perseverance necessary to be considered among the best.
Ray is an incredibly talented musician, band director, trombone player, and stand-up comedian who performs as The Turkey Baster. The Turkey Baster provides a clean, entertaining program with music and comedy that is suitable for people of all ages. Ray makes a terrific headliner for special events or he can serve as the icebreaker that entertains and loosens up the crowd. Over the years, he has entertained people at libraries, banquets, conventions, churches, schools, and fairs.
Mr. Sanders has made numerous media appearances, including the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, Late Show with David Letterman, Survivor Auditions, and NCL Star Search in 2004; Texas Country Reporter in 2007; Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2008; and America's Got Talent in 2010. He has also made several appearances in Texas, Kansas, Alaska, and Georgia.
During his collegiate career, Ray earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Sam Houston State University. He is a member of the Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Educators Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi. Mr. Sanders is also actively involved in serving the community through Habitat for Humanity as well as church missions.
