R&B Rhymes and Rhythms Showcased in Strikk's Single Release

Strikk is from Erie, Pennsylvania born with the last name Strickland. People in the neighborhood gave him his moniker Strikk and it was a stroke of genius that he uses his childhood nickname now as he revs up his music career. Strikk wrote lyrics - rhymes that fly off a page. His uncle, a music producer, at first helped him make his lyrics into full-fledged songs. Soon, Strikk met a fellow artist called Liquor. Together, they made a few mixtapes. Soon Mr. C, one of Strikk's good friends, introduced him to music producer Nemrock - and it was the start of a creative partnership that would result in mind-blowing tunes.
Strikk considers late 80's and 90's R&B and hip-hop as his influences, thanks to his mom who played those eras' music while she drove him around in her car back in the day. Strikk says he doesn't have favorite artists - he appreciates everyone and doesn't discriminate - a fine choice for a fine young man. Fusing Strikk's original ideas with Nemrock's hardcore production, Strikk found his true sound and it's a style all his own but definitely full of energy, swagger, and ready-made favorites.
