Pure Acoustic Album Released by Acoustic Generation
Acoustic Generation plays stripped down music but runs high on emotions. This duo from LA dishes out nothing but pure acoustic music.

Acoustic Generation hail from Los Angeles, California, former high school buddies who dabbled in several bands separately, and came together years later as a duo. D. Jay Howell and B. Alan Hughes were destined to be a music group which was solidified during a show on Earth Day. With the help of D.J Howell's dad Gary, urging B. Alan Hughes to go up the stage and jam with his son, the two realized they were in perfect harmony. The blending of their vocals made it clear - they were to be Acoustic Generation from here on out.
Citing jazz and blues as music genres of their liking, Acoustic Generation also relish in the influences of music legends Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, and more. Theirs is a mix of old school rock with the softness of acoustic accompanied by tight and crisp harmonies. Their lyrics are well-written, insightful, clever, and thought-provoking - how songs should always be done.
Acoustic Generation create music in the belief that people can make a difference everyday. That in life, there's always a choice to 'Stand or Fall' - you have the power to transform your life. The duo has played in various venues, performing tunes that totally capture the message they want to impart. They've done just about all of the major Hollywood clubs - The Whiskey a Go-Go, The Roxy, The Viper Room - toured even the desert towns of the Southwest in the US, and a variety of clubs, private parties, and more.
