Mila Kostic Named a VIP of the Year for Excellence in Art Gallery Management
Mila Kostic was recently selected for inclusion in Pro-Files Magazine
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, November 28, 2011 /AE PR News/ -- Mila Kostic, Gallery Director for the Federation of Canadian Artists, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in art gallery management.
For the past decade, Ms. Kostic's career has been guided by her love for the field of art. Thus, she has thoroughly cultivated her expertise in art, sales, business and client relationships. Ms. Kostic utilizes her unique skill set in the role of gallery director for the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her position entails coordinating and administering the development and implementation of the FCA Programs and fine arts exhibitions. She organizes and manages special events, such as art shows, creative programs and fundraisers. Furthermore, she oversees employees and a large group of volunteers, handles the organization's budget, and prepares monthly reports for the board of directors. Ms. Kostic has served in this capacity for the past four years.
In recognition of her exceptional work, Ms. Kostic was recently named a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown commitment to achieving personal and professional success. Ms. Kostic was also selected for inclusion in Pro-Files Magazine. Ms. Kostic holds a Bachelor of Science in art history from The University of Belgrade in Yugoslavia. She is an elective member of the Society of Canadian Artists.
